What does ready to assemble (RTA) mean?
Ready-to-assemble (RTA) kitchen cabinets ship flat-packed instead of as built boxes. Every Luxova cabinet arrives as precision-cut panels with the hardware included, and goes together with standard tools — no specialty equipment, no glue-ups. Because flat packs ship from stock rather than waiting on a cabinet shop's schedule, you get the construction quality of a custom shop with lead times measured in days, not months, and far less freight damage along the way. Assembly is a practical job for a handy homeowner, and fast routine work for any contractor.
Why plywood boxes matter
Every Luxova kitchen cabinet is built on a ½″ cabinet-grade plywood box with a UV-coated interior — no particleboard anywhere. Plywood holds screws under decades of daily use and shrugs off the steam and spills a kitchen throws at it, where particleboard swells and lets go. Drawer boxes are solid wood with real dovetail joinery, doors hang full-overlay, and every hinge and glide is soft-close as standard. The line is certified to TSCA Title VI, KCMA and CARB2 standards — the same spec whether you order one cabinet or a whole kitchen.

Send us your measurements — a sketch with wall lengths and window/appliance positions is enough. We return a free 3D design of your kitchen and an itemized quote priced per linear foot, with no obligation. Order free door samples to confirm the style and finish in your own light before you commit. When you approve, cabinets ship flat from whichever of our six U.S. warehouses is closest, and the included layout maps every flat pack to its place in the design.

Can I get custom sizes?
Yes. The lines are configurable to your layout — base cabinets at 34½″ high and 24″ deep, wall cabinets in 30″, 36″ and 42″ heights — and custom dimensions are available on request. Tell us the space and we design around it.
How do I see finishes before ordering?
Order free door samples. We ship full-size sample doors in your shortlisted styles and finishes so you can check them against your counters and light at home before committing to the kitchen.
