How much do RTA cabinets cost?

Ready-to-assemble cabinetry is quoted per linear foot — kitchens from $99.99, bathroom vanities from $119.99, and closet systems from $149.99 per foot of cabinetry. Here's what that works out to for a real project, what's included, and how to get an exact figure for free.

What a typical project costs

Cabinets are quoted per linear foot — one foot of cabinet run measured along the wall — so the total scales with how much cabinetry your room actually needs. These are starting points for a standard layout in our most popular finishes:

ProjectTypical sizeFrom priceCabinets from
Kitchen cabinets A typical 10×10 kitchen
≈ 25 linear feet
$99.99/lin ft ≈ $2,500
Bathroom vanities A 60″ double-sink vanity
≈ 5 linear feet
$119.99/lin ft ≈ $600
Closets & wardrobes An 8-foot closet wall
≈ 8 linear feet
$149.99/lin ft ≈ $1,200

Cabinetry only. Countertops, sinks, appliances and installation are separate; freight is quoted by order size and destination. Door samples and the 3D design are free.

How per-linear-foot pricing works

To estimate any room yourself: measure the wall lengths your cabinets will cover, add them together, and multiply by the per-foot rate. A 10×10 kitchen — two walls of about 12 and 13 feet — comes to roughly 25 linear feet, which is why a complete set of Shaker kitchen cabinets starts around $2,500. We then confirm the exact figure from your layout, because real kitchens have corners, tall units and sink bases that a flat per-foot number can't capture on its own.

What affects the final price

What's included for the price

Every Luxova line — at any price point — is built to the same spec: a ½″ cabinet-grade plywood box with a UV-coated interior and no particleboard, full-overlay doors, dovetailed solid-wood drawer boxes, and soft-close hinges and glides as standard. Everything is made in the USA and certified to TSCA Title VI, KCMA and CARB2 standards. The price difference between lines is the door and finish, not the construction.

Why RTA costs less than a custom shop

Ready-to-assemble cabinets ship flat-packed from stock and assemble with standard tools, so you skip a custom shop's build labor and months-long lead times — and the flat packs take far less freight damage than assembled boxes. You keep the construction quality; the savings come from how the cabinets are shipped and assembled, not from thinner materials.

Cabinet cost FAQs

How much do RTA kitchen cabinets cost?

Luxova RTA kitchen cabinets start at $99.99 per linear foot of cabinetry. A typical 10×10 kitchen is about 25 linear feet, so a complete set of cabinets starts around $2,500. Your free 3D design prices the exact layout, door style and finish before you order — there is no charge to get a quote.

What does "per linear foot" mean for cabinets?

A linear foot is one foot of cabinet run measured along the wall, counting base and wall cabinets together. It is the standard way the cabinet industry quotes a project because it scales with how much cabinetry you actually need. Measure the wall lengths your cabinets will cover, add them up, and multiply by the per-foot rate for a quick estimate — then we confirm the exact figure from your layout.

Is the "from" price the final price?

No — it is the starting point. The final quote depends on your linear footage, the door style and finish, and any specialty units (tall, corner, sink-base, glass-front). Because Luxova is ready-to-assemble and ships flat from stock, there are no custom-shop surcharges, but freight is quoted separately based on order size and destination.

How much do RTA cabinets save versus custom?

Ready-to-assemble cabinets typically cost far less than a custom cabinet shop for comparable construction, because you skip the shop's build labor and long lead times. You still get ½″ plywood boxes, dovetailed solid-wood drawers and soft-close hardware — the savings come from flat-pack shipping and self-assembly, not from cheaper materials.

Does the price include countertops, appliances or installation?

No. The per-linear-foot price is for cabinetry only. Countertops, sinks, appliances, hardware upgrades and installation are separate. Door samples and the 3D design are free.

How do I get an exact price?

Send your wall measurements — a sketch with lengths and window/appliance positions is enough — and we return a free 3D design and an itemized, no-obligation quote. Call (346) 758-7867 or use the contact form to start.
